Synopsis
On this page you can purchase tickets for a standard visit (without a guide) to the restoration site of the Bardi Chapel.
Visits take place in groups of up to 10 people, with departures at scheduled times, and can be booked by selecting a date and time slot in the calendar.
Access regulations
Before the visit, it is required to read and accept the access regulations: the site is located within scaffolding structured on three levels, connected by an internal staircase, reaching a height of approximately 11 metres. Visitors are required to wear a mandatory protective helmet, which will be provided on site.
📄 Documents: you will receive a waiver by email, which must be printed, completed, and signed, and handed to our staff.
👟 Clothing: closed, flat shoes are required
🎒 Personal items: bags and backpacks are not allowed
📵 Devices: taking photos or videos and using mobile phones during the visit is not permitted
How the visit works:
🕒 Duration: Around 45 minutes. Please arrive on time; in case of delay, participation is not guaranteed.
📍 Meeting point: Reception Desk in Largo Bargellini (facing the façade, on the left side of the basilica)
📷 If you wish to visit the rest of the monumental complex, please note that opening hours are Monday to Saturday from 09:30 to 17:30, and Sundays and public holidays from 12:30 to 17:45
Warnings
Due to the nature of the space, this activity is strongly discouraged for people with reduced mobility or sensory impairments, cardiovascular or respiratory conditions, claustrophobia, or advanced pregnancy.
Conditions
Tickets are non-changeable and non-refundable.
Visits can be booked on a monthly basis.
