Synopsis
New free admission dates for the Basilica
On these days visitors will be welcomed from 12.30 pm until 16.30 pm, compatibly with the capacity of the monumental complex and the available admission slots. Free entry ticketes could be collected on the spot.
There is no need to book on-line, just make your entrance from Largo Bargellini according to availability
- On this date the visit will be limited to the Basilica only, (the Sacristy, Novitiate and Medici Chapel will also be closed to visits).
The free opening days are the following:
- second Sunday of November
- December 22
- 26 December (Boxing Day)
- January 1st
- second Sunday of February
- Easter Sunday
- June 13 (St. Anthony of Padua)
- August 15 (Assumption)
- September 14 (Feast of the True Cross)
- European Heritage Days (defined year by year in the second half of September)
- October 4 (St. Francis of Assisi)
