Synopsis

On Monday 24 July at 09 p.-m we await you in the Basilica of Santa Croce for the concert by the musicians of the Italian Brass Week International Festival (Florence, 23-28 July) L’Amor che move il Sole e l’altre Stelle. Cosmic Lights of the Universe in Brass.

The event, dedicated to Dante, commemorates the two great musicians Roger Bobo, famous American tuba player and Dale Clevenger, principal horn of the Chicago Symphony. An unmissable appointment for music lovers, with the participation of international artists who will perform pieces by J. S. Bach, G. F. Handel, G. Caccini, A. Marcello, T. Albinoni.

The Festival, now in its 24th edition, was created with the aim of promoting musical and cultural exchange especially among young artists and is directed by Luca Benucci, first horn of the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino Orchestra.
